"Falcon" cruises on the Danube

150 years ago was started a regular passenger transport service on the Danube River between Vienna and Budapest. This Hungarian FDC shows four of the set of seven stamps issued on 25.11.1981 to commemorate the "Falcon" cruises by the Danube Commission, and the flags of the countries on the route are also displayed on the stamps. Thank you my friend Karoly for this lovely First day cover. The stamps were 1 HUF stamp "Francis I" (1830), the 2 HUF stamp Széchenyi (1853), 8 HUF stamp "Rákóczi" (1964) are shown on the FDC.
