This stamp and the FDC were issued by South Korea on 4.5.1984 during Pope Paul II's first visit to that country. The cover shows the Pope during his visit to Sorokdo City.

New Year Greetings
This is a very pretty cover with two lovely stamps issued to wish New Year's Greetings. The issue is dated 1.12.1990, and is also commemorating the Year of the Goat.

Singapore – Traditional Wedding Costumes Joint Issue 30.3.2007
Wang Lee My new pal from Singapore sent me this FDC with the pretty stamps, showing the traditional wedding costumes in Singapore and Korea. This was a Singapore Korea Joint Issue on 30.03.2007. I have also place alongside the FDC the info sheet which gives more details.

Seoul Olympics 1988
While we are on Sports I am reminded of the 1986 Seoul Olympic Games. As a matter of fact I have an album of sorts commemorating the 3rd Anniversary of the decision to hold the Olympics there. I present a few extracts from my album. This may interest the sports thematists amongst you.
