Further to my posts on this subject I place before you another FDC with a minisheet specially issued to commemorate the International Philatelic Exhibition FINLANDIA88, held in Helsinki Finland in 1988. My Dear Friend Ella sent me this wonderful cover. This FDC of Finlandia 88 was issued in 2.6.1988 and is the forth and last in the Finlandia 88 series. This miniature sheet as the ones in 1985, 1986 and 1987 were issued to support the World Stamp Exhibition. The Finlandia 88 souvenir sheet, airmail planes stamps show the 1st airmail flights Finnish air force Breguet 14 biplane transporting mail from Helsinki to Tallinn, Feb. 12, 1920; AERO Junkers F-13 making 1st airmail night flight from Helsinki to Copenhagen, May 15, 1930; AERO Douglas DC-3, 1st intl. route, Helsinki-Norrkoping-Copenhagen-Amsterdam, 1947, and finally the Douglas DC 10-30, 1975-88, inauguration of Helsinki-Beijing route, June 2, 1988.
