20th Anniversary of U.N.E.S.C.O - The Three Wise Men

The representatives of 37 countries met in London in 1945 and on November 16 signed UNESCO’s Constitution. A year later, after ratification by 20 signatories on November 4, 1946, the Constitution came into force and UNESCO was born.

 
Cyprus issued this stamp and the FDC on 8.11.1967 to commemorate the Organization’s 20th anniversary.  The three wise men have been depicted on the 75m stamp. Thank you Dear Merja for this nice FDC.
