50th Anniversary of Korea-Portugal Diplomatic Relations - joint issue

The year 2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Portugal. In celebration and commemoration of this event, Korea Post and its Portuguese counterpart, CTT issued, through collaborative works, a joint stamp issue featuring the old ships of the two countries: Korea's "Turtle Ship" and Portugal's "Nau" on 15.04.2011. The backdrop of the sheet features the painting of Navy Maneuvering (housed in Jinju National Museum) from the latter part of the Joseon Dynasty.
